
Manuela Beil-Peter joins the SLAS Board of Directors

Manuela Beil-Peter, Director Business Sector Liquid Handling and Automation at Analytik Jena, has been appointed to the SLAS Board of Directors (SLAS - Society for Laboratory Automation). SLAS is an international organization for a wide range of experts in the field of laboratory automation. The community includes scientists from industry, academia and public institutions as well as manufacturers and developers of automation systems. SLAS promotes regular exchange among all stakeholders through events, scientific publications and training programs.
"In my new role as a member of the SLAS Board of Directors, I would like to work to further strengthen the exchange between academia and industry and to weld research and technology providers even closer together," says Manuela Beil-Peter. "I have been closely associated with SLAS for many years. The community is something very special. I thank SLAS for their trust in me and look forward to my new tasks."
Manuela Beil-Peter has been an active member of the organization since 2012. She has served on the European Industry Advisory Committee and the Global Membership Committee, among others. In addition, Manuela Beil-Peter is a Scientific Committee member of the European Sample Management Conference and helped in establish the groups symposium.
